What is the Mid Summer Cube Competition 2024?
The Mid Summer Cube Competition 2024 is a speedcubing event that brings together cubers from all over the world. The competition includes a variety of events, including the classic 3×3 cube, Pyraminx, Skewb, and 2×2, as well as more challenging cubes like the 4×4 and One Hand 2×2.
Who can participate in the event?
Anyone passionate about Rubik’s Cubes and speedcubing can participate in the Mid Summer Cube Competition 2024. This includes both seasoned cubers and newcomers to the world of speedcubing. Ages up to 18
The Age Groups for the event are divided into 3 groups.
| Group 1 | Up to 7 years |
| Group 2 | 8 to 12 years |
| Group 3 | 13 to 18 years |
When and where is the event taking place?

What are the Events I can participate in?
There are 9 cubing events scheduled for MSCC2024. They are scheduled as follows

What are you ready to compete in?
What is OH?
“OH” or One Handed is an event where you must solve the 2×2, 3×3 and Pyraminx with just one hand. In this event, you are allowed to only use one of your hands to hold and turn the layers and cannot switch hands during the solve. You can take part in just one of the three or all of them. Are there any Prizes?
Yes, you can win from a cash prize pool of ₹32,000!
Every participant will be awarded an E-certificate via email for taking part. Winners will receive their prizes through email or WhatsApp.
Cash prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each of the 9 events across the 3 age groups.
How many attempts do I get for each event?
A cuber will be allowed two (2) attempts for each registered event. The average of 2 will be used to calculate the rankings in each event.

- Day 1 [27 April, Sat]: 2×2 Cube , 3×3 Cube, Pyraminx, Skewb
- Day 2 [28 April, Sun]: 4×4 Cube, Mirror Cube, Pyraminx OH, 2×2 OH, 3×3 OH
- Day 3 [TBD ]: Prize Distribution Ceremony TBD
Time slot: Select your 1hr slot while signing up. Make sure to select a slot on both days if you signed up for events that occur on both days.
For example, if you have signed up for 3×3 Cube , and 4×4 Cube, then you have to select a slot from Day 1 and a slot from Day 2
But if you only signed up for 3×3 or 2×2, you only have to select a slot from Day 1
