Mid Summer Cube Championship 2026

Get Ready for an Amazing Online Cubing Competition! 🧩

We are so excited to share a fantastic event coming up for all the puzzle lovers in our community! Our friends at Cubing Heat are hosting the Mid Summer Cube Championship 2026 (MSCC 2026), and it is going to be an incredible weekend of solving and fun.

Whether you are just learning how to solve your first Rubik’s Cube or you are already getting super fast times, this event is designed for you. It’s all about challenging yourself, building confidence, and cheering each other on!

Here are all the important details:

• When is it? The weekend of April 18th & 19th, 2026.

• Where is it? 100% Online! You will solve from home using Zoom, and a friendly live judge will be there to time you. Participants will be form around the world.

• Who can participate? Everyone! To keep things fair and fun, competitors are split into 4 different age groups (from 0-7 years old, all the way up to adults 18+).

• What are the events? You can pick from 11 different challenges. We have the classics like the 3×3, 2×2, and Pyraminx, plus One-Handed events and a really fun global “Fastest Scrambler 3×3” Special Event.

• Are there prizes? Yes, and they are awesome! The Top 5 solvers in every event and age group will win a real, physical championship trophy shipped right to their door. Plus, every single person who competes gets a custom digital certificate with their photo on it!

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience a real competition in a super supportive environment without having to travel. We would absolutely love to see some of our own community members on that leaderboard!
